Kanye West just keeps getting weirder and weirder. (And it’s becoming clearer and clearer why Kim Kardashian divorced him.) His latest stunt was a public meeting with disbarred lawyer and Trump fixer Michael Cohen…to which he wore a creepy prosthetic mask.

The misguided duo got together for java at the Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Loews Regency Hotel on the Upper East Side in New York City earlier this week. Supposedly, they talked real estate. (Uh-huh, yeah, right.)
According to Page Six, which contacted Cohen for comment, “the rapper donned the mask to try to get some privacy after he’d been mobbed by fans when they arrived at the coffee bar.”
“The purpose [of the mask] was so that people would not recognize him,” Cohen told the gossip rag. “The first 10 minutes we sat down, he was mobbed by people … who wanted photos, and to say hello. So he put on this mask to give him some anonymity, which interestingly enough, did not really work.”
This isn’t the first time the newly divorced dad tried the tactic, either. He also donned an alien-esque face covering while in Venice recently.

Wearing masks that are even stranger than anything required to prevent the spread of Covid and scarier than a Michael Myers Halloween costume isn’t exactly how we would try to fly under the radar, but OK, Kanye. (Whoops, we mean “Ye,” as he is now officially known thanks to a legal name change.) Ah, well, it’s just the latest scene in the horror movie that is his life.
