Dorky ‘Succession’ Character Greg Inspired This New Sex Toy (He’s Officially Made It)

Succession, the Emmy award-winning drama streaming on HBO, inspires a lot of things in us. Greed. Jealousy. Ambition. One thing we never thought we’d associate with the show, however, is arousal – especially not when it, ahem, comes to the character of cousin Greg.

But apparently, there’s a whole contingent of Succession viewers out there who think the lanky, dorky dude played by Nicholas Braun is not only hot, but merits his own sex toy. It’s called “Greg the Egg” and it’s designed to vibrate every time the corporate ladder-climbing cast member appears onscreen.

“With the popularity of ‘Succession’ we thought this was a good opportunity to capitalize on the sex appeal Nicholas Braun has developed through the first two seasons,” CamSoda VP Daryn Parker told the New York Post. “He’s America’s sweetheart and has captured the hearts of many across social media. Just scroll through Twitter on Sunday night and you’ll see people lusting after him. We thought this would be a nice compliment to people’s infatuation with him.”

Parker prides himself on turning Succession into Sexcession. “We thought about pairing it to Siobhan threesomes or sexual perversions and proclivities from Roman,” said Parker, “but ultimately landed on Greg.”

The 33-year-old actor has been notified that he inspired a sex toy, to which he responded, “I think, uh … Is it a compliment?” in a Vanity Fair interview. “That’s such an intimate thing to do with yourself — or with another person participating or watching. So the fact that ‘Succession’ and Greg can be on their mind as that’s going on, it’s not something that any of us expected.”

But then the bashful beau of so many Succession viewers backpedaled. “Oh my god, I wish I didn’t know about this,” he said.

Yeah, we kind of wish we didn’t, either. Then again, unless millions of lonely ladies have fantasized about you while getting off, have you even made it in Hollywood?
