Actor Wesley Snipes was arrested this morning upon his return to the United States at Orlando International Airport after being indicted in October on eight counts of tax fraud. Officials claim that Snipes filed fraudulent returns in 1996 and 1997 (resulting in receiving a $7,360,755.00 refund in 1997 alone), and between 1999 and 2006, the actor failed to file returns at all. In all, Snipes failed to pay nearly $12 million in taxes and faces up to 40 years in federal prison if convicted on all counts. This all has to be some kind of setup, right? Well, of course:
The 44-year-old actor has said he is a scapegoat and was unfairly targeted by prosecutors, and has suggested he was taken advantage of.”
Yeah, so I guess that’s why when he was indicted he fled the country and went to Africa. It probably just slipped his mind that he hadn’t paid taxes in six years. That stuff happens I guess. You know what else happens? Prison butt sex. Enjoy!
