The trailer for Miami Vice is out. I loved the Miami Vice series, and have memorized every scene and line in Heat, so Michael Mann can do almost no wrong in my book. I say “almost” because Mike cut the part out of this trailer where I’m straddling Colin Farrell’s face while shooting the bad guys, who are crashing through the doors and windows of our hotel suite, with the shiny guns I’m holding in each hand. I think the cut had something to do with “Jamie Foxx needed more screen time,” or “Jenny, that scene never happened, and we demand you cease and desist stalking our client, Colin Farrell,” or something like that, but whatever.
