Office Space gets even better

The best movie ever made, Office Space, is about to get even better. OK, maybe I’m exaggerating, but it is one of the funniest movies ever made. VideoBusiness.com is reporting that a “Special Edition with Flair” of the quintessential cubicle movie was released today. If you have ever had a corporate pinhead as a boss, I know you already love this movie, but now you have even more reason to love it. The article isn’t all that complimentary of the extras on the DVD, saying:

Instead, we have a fawning set of reminiscences in the featurette about the picture’s only name star, Jennifer Aniston (seen here only in archival interview footage). The 30-minute featurette focuses so specifically on the cast and characters that one welcomes the set’s other supplement, a collection of eight deleted scenes. Bad news again: The scenes clock in at a mere five minutes. But one of these shards does provide a glimpse at a great gag: The colorful and sublimely irritating boss from hell (Gary Cole) dogging our hero (Ron Livingston) at his next job site.”

I imagine the scene they are talking about is Peter shoveling burnt stuff from Inotech, and Lumbergh comes up to him and says that he needs Peter to work on Saturday and Sunday, then Peter says “Yeah, I’m gonna need you to go ahead and kiss my sweaty ass.” And then that guy that was Peter’s neighbor, and Jethro in the Beverly Hillbillies movie, and on the Drew Carey Show (whatever his name is) says “Fuckin’ A.” And that’s about it.

But I don’t give a crap. I still love the movie and worship Peter, Michael Bolton, Samir Nagheenanajar, Milton Waddams, Bill Lumbergh, and Mike Judge, so I am going to stand in line for the DVD release, even if I’m the only person there. And I’m gonna have my “O” face on the entire time. If you don’t like that, then leave me alone, I need to go work on my TPS Reports.

On a somewhat related note, here are some new pictures of Jennifer Aniston from the premiere of Derailed on October 30th and her dress is noticeably missing several pieces of “flair”.
