And yes, the ‘package’ pun was intended, ladies and gentlemen.
Have you ever played the game Inside? How about Limbo? If you have, and you’re a fan of those video games you should know that the folks behind them is video game developer Playdead. And it seems that Playdead wants to expand their reach because they are teaming up with iam8bit and RealDoll for a collection’s edition. And if you’re wondering, yes, RealDoll are the brilliant folks who make those life-size sex dolls (and other sex toys).
The collector’s edition is worth $375 and it includes the following: a physical copy of Inside for Playstation 4, Steam codes for Inside and Limbo and “other stuff.” What that “other stuff” is no one knows, but we know that it’s not a life-size sex doll because those cause a lot more than $375. You know, because I’ve done research.
The product listing to this mysterious package reads:
“We will NOT tell you what it is. Maybe it’s what you’re thinking… maybe not. We can confirm that there are several items included, one of which is a PlayStation 4 game disc. The rest is up for speculation.”
Well that’s certainly one way to sell something.
If Playdead is teaming up with a company that specializes in all things sex one has to think that there’s something sex-related in the box. Perhaps it something that you won’t need a second player for. That said, the important question has to be asked…
All involved will reveal what’s the “other stuff” in the package when the box ships worldwide during the first quarter of 2019. Until then we can all speculate.
