Whether you have kids or not, chances are that you’ve stepped on a Lego. Chances also are that you stepped on a Lego and you’ve seen death and and somehow return. And that pretty much means that you understand the risk that comes with having Legos thrown around the floor. But guess what? Legos don’t all have to so miserable, in fact one Lego fanatic decided to make Legos a pleasant thing by making it into one incredible roller coaster replica.
Lego fanatic ‘Chairude’ took over 800 hours in order to assemble his 85+ feet of track, including 90,000 plastic pieces that went into this replica wooden coaster — a coaster that was inspired by the El Toro ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. A camera was strapped to the coaster’s super small cars in order to give the impression you were on this fun ride.

And for those handy folks that are interested in the numbers game: this replica coaster is 6.5 meters long 1.2 meters wide and 1.4 meters tall. It’s all 1200 meters long and 60 meters. It’s also proof that people have a lot of time on their hands. Although it may also prove that people are passionate about things. I wonder what that feels like.
That said, I think sometimes it’s nice taking a break from the chaos that sits outdoors simply to enjoy some tiny coaster you won’t ever be too small enough to ride in.
