Ladies and gentlemen, Harley Barber is a trash bag on legs. But who is Harley Barber? She’s a student at the University of Alabama, and a member of Alpha Phi sorority, who decided to film herself dropping the N word countless times and then sharing videos of it on social media. And to make matters even worse, she shared these videos on Martin Luther King Day.
Officials at the University of Alabama are investigating the videos all while Barber is getting destroyed left and right on social media and rightfully so. The videos are still making the rounds, and it all kicked off when Barber shared this video of herself in the bathroom. A Twitter user shared it:
Heads up, there’s graphic language:
Peep her finsta lmaoooo im dead ..she bold. Gottta love Alabama women pic.twitter.com/eFZDZDjsCj

But believe it or not it gets worse, as once she started receiving backlash fror her vile words, Barber doubled-down and shared this video:
LMAOOOOO BRO SHE SO BOLD…. yeah her life over after these videos lmaooo pic.twitter.com/1vYt80ACkr

Holy hell, what a racist airhead.
Linda Kahangi, the executive director of Alpha Phi International Fraternity, addressed Barber’s comments in a statement to AL.com:
“Alpha Phi is a diverse, values-based organization and condemns the language and opinions in these videos. They are offensive and hateful to both our own members and to other members of the Greek and campus community. The Beta Mu chapter leadership and supporting alumnae moved quickly to address the offense, and Ms. Barber is no longer a member of Alpha Phi.”
So Barber got kicked out of the sorority, will hopefully be kicked out of school soon, has deleted all of her social media accounts and now these videos will live on the internet forever. So good luck getting a job, lady.
Chris Bryant, a spokesperson for the university, had this to say:
“These remarks are ignorant and disturbing and in no way reflect the values of The University of Alabama. This unfortunate behavior has been reported to the Office of Student Conduct as it does not align with the community expectations of students at the Capstone.”
The university continues to investigate.
