As someone who never wins anything, I completely understand getting hyped up at winning anything. Hell, I was pretty pumped after I won $2 from a scratch-off. But something tells me a lot of people wouldn’t react the same way Lauren May won after winning $11.30 from a trivia game.
Just check out this roller coaster of emotions:
Watching Lauren May’s roller coaster of emotions as she realized she’s won $11.30 playing @hqtrivia yesterday was a truly epic start to the new year @ScottRogowsky @L_M_A_Y @megmk #HQTrivia pic.twitter.com/GtH4nCG2w7

I’m just going to assume there was a t-shirt she really wanted from Forever 21 and now she can finally buy it. Hey, that’s a reason to celebrate. And Twitter had a ton of reactions to this video:
Love ya Laur! But have you considered mood stabilizers??

One day I hope to experience this kind of ecstasy https://t.co/PxMj4sQGkv

This would be me winning HQ even if I won 11 cents https://t.co/GuUc7QtKs9

This is the consequence of the emotional exhaustion that 2017 was.

And here’s what May herself had to say:
Not all of us can be celebrity game show hosts Scott, some of us have to enjoy the little things in life

We need more good news like this this year.
