But what was his plan afterwards? Sink to safety?
Let’s all talk about Timofey Erofeeff, a 27-year-old burglary suspect who was recently fleeing from cops after he was spotted trespassing on some boats. When police attempted to take Erofeeff into custody he sped off, eventually driving his truck off a pier into the Columbian River. Erofeeff than proceeded to try and swim away, but the freezing cold water made him turn back.

Marine employees eventually fished this idiot out and he was taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia.

Erofeeff was booked on charges of criminal trespass, parole violation, attempt to elude a police officer, reckless driving and escape, with bail being set at $75,000.
Unless you’re Aquaman, it’s probably best you don’t go driving your car into a river because chances are the river will win. And that’s the best advice I can give you at the moment.
