These Guys Keep Going To LA City Council Meetings To Stop Them From Outlawing House Parties

For many of us, house parties are where we saw our first boobs, woke up next to our hook up and learned how to deal with the aftermath and learned how to still have a meaningful conversation with somebody after doing four keg stands and chugging an entire 12-pack of Red Dog.

Well, the Los Angeles City Council is expecting today’s youth to experience all of that somewhere else, as they’re attempting to impose a ban on house parties in the Hollywood Hills. Thankfully, two heroes are taking time out of their busy schedules to represent us at this crucial time while those who we elected into office try to bring our fun level even closer to zero.

Guys, meet Chad and JT. They’re the two bros who have stood before the LA City Council not once but twice in an effort to keep those Hollywood Hills house parties raging into the next decade. Here’s a clip from their first appearance last Wednesday:

Poor Chad Kroeger. I mean, having to take Stacy McMillan to prom instead of Lauren Stockholder seems like a real drag. But shoutout to Boomer Kingsley for providing Chad with a venue and some liquid courage to make just asking Stockholder to the big dance a reality.

Now you may have noticed that Chad was rudely cut off by the LA City Council President Herb J. Wesson, Jr. before he could finish his epic praise of house parties, but thankfully, the powers that be had both Chad and JT back on Friday to finish their thoughts for every other council member. Here’s how that went down:

Yeah, that “Bill & Ted” joke sucked just as much the second time around as it did when Wesson debuted it on Wednesday. Time to get that fucker some new material.
