With more than 1.4 billion people making their way around the country, we’re sure we have nothing to bitch about in Los Angeles when it comes to making our morning commute, even though it truly is pure hell.

Well, according to the South China Morning Post, one Chinese bus passenger was so sick and tired of how long it was taking to get from Point A to Point B that he…wait for it…repainted the road markings so the bus he was on could continue to go straight from what used to be a left turn only lane.

The man from Lianyungang in Jiangsu province was fined $150 for his actions after he was “caught on surveillance camera with a can of white paint and brush at 3 p.m. on Monday changing arrows in a lane telling traffic to turn left to instead go straight ahead.”

“I saw the straight lane was always packed with cars, while the turning left lane has a lot of space,” the man said. “So I thought changing the signs would make my commute smoother.”

Instead, the poor fucker just made his commute more expensive.
