It’s that time again: to binge (again) on the strangest new season of TV, only this time you’ll be smart enough to do it with the tastiest Stranger Things–themed drinks to both keep you warm and upside down.
If the Duffer brothers didn’t up the ante enough for you the first time through season two with the extra action, endless gore, nightmare-inspiring thrills and countless ’80s references (thanks for all the Ghostbusters talk, really), then maybe you need to be loaded up on drinks inspired by the show that are either cracked out on caffeine or loaded up with liquor. From hot espresso drinks to liver-warming cocktails, we’ve got seven stunners that’ll put Steve-like hair (except on your taint) and light up your living room like Winona Ryder fighting for her acting career.
Try out some Stranger Things drinks, whether it’s the hair of the Steve or just some potion that looks it could kill you. It won’t, as long as you drink responsibly, as always, mouth breather.

Heat up a cup of tonic water with a packet of Jell-O, any flavor of your choosing (we recommend the strangest), then add a cup of water and another of vodka, then stir, chill for 30 minutes and black out.

The Eleven

Bourbon, maple syrup, bitters, lemon juice and apple juice make for the perfect supernatural cocktail, especially if there's an Eggo atop.
Have eleven of them, and you'll feel just as though you have superpowers.

The Wheelhouse in Downtown Los Angeles will show you how to make your favorite copper-inspired Hopper drink by adding milk, chocolate, carmel syrup and brandied pumpkin to espresso.
Garnish with a sugar stick dipped in syrup (or just put your cigarette out in it). Classic, Hopper!

Another Wheelhouse LA Stranger Things staple, The Upside Down, consists of coffee, chocolate clove syrup and a chocolate-dipped biscuit.

If the Upside Down coffee wasn't what you had in mind, the cocktail will be. The recipe calls for vodka, simple syrup and lime juice with a little Ouzo and blackberries.
Arlene's Grocery in New York City calls for a similar drink with orange vodka, maraschino juice, Sprite and energy drink. You will literally be upside down.

If you're looking for a stranger thing that doesn't make you wake up in another country covered in urine (maybe your own), try Drink Lab's. All you need are blackberries and raspberries, a little vodka, sugar syrup, tonic and a lead liver.
Actually, you might still wake up in another country covered in urine.

The 11: Ginger Maple Fizz

The Drink Lab recipe calls for mixing ginger maple syrup (syrup, minced ginger and water) with vodka, lemon juice, egg white, more ginger and grenadine. It's a bit of a sweet tart, just like Eleven, at least until she puts you through a wall.
