It was only a matter of time before we started talking movies that could successfully be rebooted as TV shows, especially with so many of them underway already. Although we’ve seen some terrible movie reboot ideas come to fruition on the small screen (Rush Hour, Lethal Weapon and Scream), we’re not above the idea of these 10 movies getting the living room binge treatment. If it gets Dan Aykroyd to quit yapping about paranormal investigations or gets Bruce Willis back on top, why the hell not?
Although we think the rumored reboot of our favorite pet detective, Ace Ventura, is a cardinal sin, we do think reprising some of these movies in an extended format could be beneficial to our cringeworthy binge lives. For instance, wouldn’t you like to see The Godfather drug out into a long form like The Sopranos? Wouldn’t you love to see some ghostbusting on a more routine basis?

"The Departed"
After more than 10 years, the Boston-based Scorsese crime thriller has been rumored to be getting an Amazon TV reboot.
Although it's rumored to be based in Chicago, probably because of tax incentives (that's not very mobster of you, Amazon), it would be great to have a modern day crime syndicate on our binge machines, even if Jack and Leo aren't attached.

"Ghostbusters"
Clearly, a movie reboot wasn't a good idea, but the TV cartoon remains as classic as the original film. Dan Aykroyd would give his left nut to see a ghost-busting live action Netflix series, as he's said so himself recently.
He and Ivan Reitman have a huge chunk of Sony's lot taken up with Ghost Corps, so something has to come of all this besides a lady reboot with the most cruel YouTube comments ever.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"
Archeologists are so hot right now, a trend we've been waiting to see come back around. If they can make more "Jurassic" movies, they can surely come up with some clever Indie scripts using a young Harrison Ford type, like The Goonies on TV but for adults.

"The Godfather"
As much as a modern crime drama seems feasible with The Departed, how cool would it be to see someone like HBO do a reboot of the Godfather himself, kind of how they recreated the '70s in New York for The Deuce.
One problem: There will never be another Marlon Brando.

"Problem Child"
They managed to squeeze more movies out of this franchise after we lost count with the second one, but troublesome toddlers and prepubescent punk kids are be all the rage, like Fuller House but good.
We only wish we still had John Ritter around for this one.

"X Men"
We had to throw in a comic book cartoon that was made into some crap live-action films. Now we need to work backwards and get back to TV episodes, which would take some pressure off all these movies being so mind-blowing. Can you imagine 8-episode mini series of your favorite superheroes?
Or at least bring back Starsky and Hutch to the small screen.

It's long been rumored to be getting a movie reboot, an additional installment and every other type of Hollywood plastic surgery, but what about TV?
There's so much of the matrix left to be explored, assuming somebody out there has an imagination, but only as long as Will Ferrell can return for the spoof role of The Architect.

Time jumping? The return of Bruce Willis's career? A young, hot Emily Blunt? Joseph Gordon-Levitt back to starring in everything? Sure, why the hell not?

The story of Peter Pan is forever everyone's favorite, being recreated in every which way from Hook to Finding Neverland (and even a terrible musical), but what if the Lost Boys brought Never Never Land to your living room? I'd eat fake meals all day with them. Rufio! Can't top Robin's work though, bummer.

How about the real Lost Boys? Is it too late for Corey Feldman? Yes. But somebody's got to make vampires cool again after all that weird Twilight and True Blood bullshit. Man, I'm tired of being right.
