When I was a toddler there were many things I did to pass the time: I would watch TV, play with toys, complain or annoy my parents. One thing I didn’t do? Ride a python. But it looks like at least one toddler was doing that recently in Vietnam.
The video below shows a three-year-boy riding a 20-foot-long python that according to the Daily Mail the family keeps as a pet. That’s right, a 176 pound pet. The boy is shown riding the snake like a horse while floodwaters surrounds him and his family.

What in the hell was that? My mom didn’t allow me to get near a dog when I was a kid let alone a thing that can devour me whole. An Nguyen, the kid’s aunt, had this to say:
“The python is 80kg…and very gentle. It was a rainy day and the water flooded to the edge of the yard. So they put the python in there to play and relax.”
“Very gentle” isn’t exactly the way I would describe a python. In conclusion, someone get that kid a rocking horse before he decides to ride that giant snake again.
