So I’m going to go out on a limb and say he didn’t have the power to control them.
Crazy footage of a shaman swimming in a lake after stating he has the power to control crocodiles has gone viral after he clearly did not have to power. It all kicked off when Shaman Suprianto was told of a man named Arjuna who was killed by a crocodile while bathing in the waters. So Suprianto then proceeds to jump in the water to look for Arjuana’s body, believing he has the supernatural power to control what a crocodile does.
He doesn’t.
Take a look at Suprianto being attacked and dragged underwater by a crocodile in the video below. Just a heads up that some of you might find this video distressing.
Wow. The incident occurred in Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia, and clearly shows Suprianto being dragged under water by a hungry croc.
Suprianto was dragged under mid-mantra as he was swimming and chanting. Police recovered both bodies on Sunday, with Kutai Kartanegara Police Chief Fadillah Zulkarnaen telling Detik news site that Suprianto was found floating at 9.40pm.
“I think he was dragged by a croc under the water and then ran out of oxygen. From the pictures I’ve seen, his body is still intact, his arms and legs are still there.”
Arjuna’s corpse was also intact.
It’s quite unfortunate that this man passed, but it’s also quite unfortunate that he truly believed he could control crocodiles. In conclusion, please don’t assume you can control any animal.
