Female Wrestler Goes Off Script, Intentionally Injures Opponent

As terrible as the WWE is sometimes, one thing you can say about them is that everyone in the ring is a professional and looks out for one another. But you can’t say that about female Lucha Libre wrestler Sexy Star, who is now being accused of intentionally injuring her opponent, Rosemary.

It all kicked off when Sexy Star, Rosemary, Lady Shani and Ayako Hamada were all involved in a four-way match for the Reina de Reinas Championship over the weekend at TripleMania XXV. And all was fine and dandy until Sexy Star put Rosemary in an cross armbar and kept it on even after Rosemary tapped out. The referee had to physically remove Sexy Star off Rosemary.

Check out the bizarre video below.

All of this was obviously not on the script, and according to PWInsider, Rosemary suffered significant damage, including discoloration and swelling around her elbow that is feared to be a triceps tear. Rosemary of course took it to Twitter to talk about the awful incident, saying:

Let me make this perfectly clear: if you take liberties with someone’s body when they are giving it to you and trusting you to keep them safe, you are not tough. You are an a**hole. And you don’t belong in this business”

Here’s the entire statement below.

Plenty of fellow wrestlers have sent their support for Rosemary and of course bashed Sexy Star — wrestlers like Paige, Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes chimed in.

As of right now the 34-year-old Sexy Star has not been suspended, but she already been removed from a November appearance at WrestleCade in North Carolina.
