Years ago, the Scarlet Witch was one of the founding members of the Avengers Unity Squad, which was meant to bridge the gap between mutants and humans. During her stint on the team, the Scarlet Witchâs antagonistic relationship with Rogue almost got both of them killed, and it did in an alternate timeline! Rogue and Wanda eventually reconciled, but itâs been a long time since the Scarlet Witch was a member of the team.
In Secret Empire, the Scarlet Witch was possessed by the elder God, Chthon, and her brother, Quicksilver, vowed to save her. Now, the Secret Empire has fallen, and Quicksilver and Rogue arenât sure if Wanda has really been saved. In this weekâs exclusive preview from Uncanny Avengers # 26, we see the awkward reunion between the siblings as the next crisis looms on the horizon.
