People’s random theories on the internet can be a lot of fun. Sometimes they’re actually informative like the guy who suggested he could pinpoint exactly where The Simpsons went wrong, while others border on creepy but potentially fake. Heck, there was even one so outlandish it tried connecting the rise of fidget spinners to Rick & Morty.
The latest is equally outlandish, but certainly based in reality. However, since we laughed so hard reading it, we won’t bother to explain beforehand. Instead, we’ll leave it to Twitter user swizz keats to present his case:
Tom Cruise Used Stunt Butt In Valkyrie According To Twitter Theory
hello, please, i present the theory that for one single shot in Valkyrie (2008), at 5:12, tom cruise wears a fake butt. observe: pic.twitter.com/Tw6yTbsQUe

The fact that his handle is @iluvbutts247 only adds credibility to his claim, but of course he was quick to clarify that this was all one bulbous, gloriously executed joke:
and just fyi i’m aware it’s a padded stunt-butt. i do not care. it is still beautiful and hilarious.

Still, all of this isn’t to say he wasn’t open to second opinions:
but is it TOO juicy?

Obviously, fellow Twitter users were quick to divulge their hot takes, too. So hot:

Welp, that’s enough for us to make an informed decision. We find the defendant: GUILTY
