It’s safe to say that the relationship between Koen and Waruu has reached a new low point on SundanceTV’s Cleverman. Ordinarily, what would a little attempted murder be between two half-brothers that hate each other? But Waruu took it a step further by nearly keeping Koen from magically healing from his injuries. Not cool, bro!
As predicted, Koen survived and he even took a few more steps in his journey as the Cleverman. After angrily confirming that his aunt Linda killed his parents, Koen made his peace with her and killed her…shortly before bringing her back to life with her soul intact. That feat inspired Koen to more fully embrace his inner warrior, and he donned a new outfit. What the hell, let’s just call it his superhero costume. After all, it even has a mask!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for this week’s episode of Cleverman, Koen confronts Waruu and demands that he stop the Inclusion initiative that threatens the Hairy people. Unfortunately for Koen, Waruu is a lot stronger than he remembers, and even Koen’s powers no longer impress him.
