Many years ago, the man who would become Batman trained with Zatanna and her father, Zatara, to learn the art of misdirection and stage magic. But within the pages of Detective Comics, Bruce Wayne has started to remember that he was exposed to a secret that he should never have been shown. But with the coming of the Dark Multiverse, the apparent death of Tim Drake, and other lingering mysteries, Batman has once again turned to Zatanna for answers…and he may not like what he finds!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from this week’s Detective Comics # 961, we see for the first time exactly how and why Zatanna showed off her family’s secret to Bruce and what happened afterwards. Now, we’ll see the future Dark Knight come face-to-face with one of his greatest enemies at least a decade or more before their first confrontation.
