Armed Robber At Starbucks Gets Taken Down By Customer Using Metal Chair

It’s always a good thing to see a robber (or robbers) completely fail, and it’s even better when it’s caught on camera. That’s why it was quite a sight to see those two idiots who robbed a pawn shop get locked inside, just like it was amazing to see sex shop employees fight off a robber with dildos. But now this time around it’s all about a robber wearing a Transformers mask getting beat up by a customer.

The incident below, which was caught on surveillance camera, shows the moment an armed robber enters the Northwest Fresno Starbucks demanding cash. The robber, 30-year-old Ryan Flores was wearing a mask and was carrying a toy gun, but a real knife. And yet Flores was not expecting 58-year-old customer Cregg Jerri to smash him from behind with a metal chair.

And then the fight was on. Check out the crazy video below.

According to investigators, Jerri was able to wrestle the knife away from Flores and stab him several times before Flores ran away. Although Jerri was also stabbed in the neck during the scuffle but he’s expected to be OK.

Flores was later found by police near a canal where he admitted to the crime and was taken into custody. Here’s what Police Chief Jerry Dyer said:

“It’s not something we recommend. In this case it was a good outcome– no one died as a result of this incident, but very well could have. But nonetheless, he’s a hero– there’s no question.”

Here’s hoping Jerri gets at least one iced coffee on the house.
