Cristiano Ronaldo may be the most fortunate man on the planet. Not only does he make a whopping $58 million each season playing the most popular sport in the world, he makes nearly just as much as a model … on Instagram.
According to Forbes, the soccer star makes about $35 million in endorsements. But even more mind blowing is how much he gets paid for his endorsements on social media.
Ronaldo has 106 million followers on Instagram. The Real Madrid star mostly posts pics of him playing soccer, or with his shirt off; who wouldn’t want to show off being that shredded?
But then there’s posts like these, each getting millions of ‘likes’:

Whether it’s product placement or a straight-up conspicuous advertisement, Ronaldo makes an insane $399,000 (estimated) per sponsored post. In fact, he’s now the third most “Instagram rich” person in the world and the top-earning male in the world, just ahead of Kylie Jenner.
Here’s the alleged top Instagram earners in the world. The only other male/athlete in the top 10 is LeBron James.

Even if you make $15/hour, it would take you about 12.5 years to make the amount of money Ronaldo makes off one Instagram post that probably takes 10 minutes to shoot.
This Forbes articles goes more in depth regarding the ridiculous amount of money stars like Ronaldo and LeBron are raking in.
