The B-Movies Podcast #329 | Adventures in Baby Driver-ing

Ain’t no driver like a baby driver, and this baby driver won’t stop! This week on The B-Movies Podcast, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review Edgar Wright’s critically acclaimed mixtape car chase movie Baby Driver, and try to suss out whether the film’s overwhelming and exciting style compensates for its obvious storytelling flaws.

Also this week: Bibbs and Witney say goodbye to the late Michael Nyqvist, talk about the upcoming Deep Blue Sea sequel and Michelle Rodriguez threatening to leave the Fast and Furious movies. They also review The Little Hours, a sharply funny adaptation of The Decameron, and the latest Netflix Original movie, Okja… which they REALLY didn’t like. We’re going to have to spend some time on this film, folks. It’s got a LOT of problems. (The spoilers for Okja begin at 54:00, and the spoilers end at 1:10:28.)
