When Robert Raines started going through Christine Braswell’s SUV and taking stuff out of her purse the last thing he expected was to get caught. Actually, check that, the last thing he expected was to get caught and get run over by the SUV. But guess what, that is exactly what occurred.
Witness saw Raines going through Braswell’s belongings in broad daylight in the parking lot of an Asheville, North Carolina Walmart. Witnesses of course confronted Raines but he just ran off with Braswell’s purse. So what did the pregnant woman do? She ran him the hell over.

Pregnant Woman Runs Down Purse Thief With SUV In Walmart Parking Lot
“He was with my purse and he took off and I took off after him,” Braswell told WLOS. “Me being five months pregnant, I chased a little ways then come back, jumped in the car, threw it in gear and come across the curb and ran him over. I was not going to let him get away with it. It’s not right, it’s not fair.”
Incredibly, employees of a WLOS news crew just happened to be there and just happened to catch the moment Braswell hit Raines, knocking the shirtless dude over and almost breaking his back.

If anyone was wondering, which I’m sure no one is, Raines was only treated for minor injuries. He was then charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and misdemeanor damage to property because he broke Braswell’s iPad and phone screens.
Braswell was also charged, but she was charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon — a charge that will probably be dropped. We hope.
