‘Dodgeball’ Is Back As White Goodman Returns To Reignite The Rivalry For Charity

The success of sequels to franchises well past their prime has been less than impressive as of late. Especially when it comes to comedies, lightning rarely strikes twice. That’s why sometimes it’s best to go the way of an internet short instead, so as not to overstay your welcome. It worked for City Slickers, and now it’s working for the 2004 comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. And best of all, it’s for charity.

Partnering with Omaze to raise money for the Stiller Foundation, Ben Stiller has come up with just about the best way to raise money: by letting you play alongside White Goodman and his Globo Gym cronies against Peter La Fleur, Kate Veatch and the rest of the Average Joe’s team (well, most of them). But what am I explaining all of this to you for when it’d sound so much better coming from the man himself? Take it away, W-H-I-T … E.

Let’s face it, it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll be the one chosen to play for Globo Gym or Average Joe’s. Fortunately, the swag that you walk away with just for donating is pretty rad. Who wouldn’t give 50 bucks to a good cause if it meant a sweet pair of Globo Gym sweatbands? That’s right, I’m team Globo Gym all the way. After all, they were originally supposed to win anyways.
