Here’s one good reason to do your napping inside with the air conditioning cranked up to the max this summer instead of in the hammock in your backyard or anywhere outside for that matter.
According to UPI, a 49-year-old woman in India named Lekshmi decided to take a nap outside of her home last week, and let’s just say that it turned out to be the worst nap of her life.
Lekshmi told doctors at Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal that she awoke to “slight discomfort and a tingling sensation” in her ear, but that minor pain turned into a severe headache after her daughter shined a flashlight in her ear to see if she could discover what was causing all of the trouble.
The culprit behind Lekshmi discomfort and headache? You guessed it: A spider decided to crawl into her ear while she was sleeping, and the video of it crawling out of her ear at the hospital can be summed up as nothing short of horrific.
