Lex Luthor is a hero…well, as much as he could possibly be a hero. After all, Lex is still very much who he is, even when following a different path. But his past is about to catch up with him in this week’s Trinity Annual # 1.
To oppose the heroic trinity of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, the sorceress known as Circe joined forces with Ra’s al Ghul and Lex Luthor to form their own trinity of evil. However, Lex left his “partners” behind, which means that he’s now about to become their target. This may have the unintended side effect of sending the heroes to protect their one-time nemesis. But in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Trinity Annual # 1, Circe predicts that Lex’s heroic turn will only be temporary as Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Diana gather for a rare meeting without their signature costumes.

“You don’t betray Ra’s al Ghul and legendary sorceress Circe and just walk away. That’s what Lex Luthor is about to learn the hard way. Now, he has to unite with his former Justice League teammates if he wants to stay alive. Meanwhile, the Trinity fear this ordeal will push Lex back to the dark side.”
Tinity Annual # 1 will be released this Wednesday, May 31, in comic stores everywhere.
