First of all, shaming someone for their appearance is an asshole move. Not everyone can look like an Adonis or Greek goddess, but somehow there’s a class of neanderthal that still thinks it’s funny.
Dani Mathers is one of those.
If you recall, we wrote about how the Playboy model got in some heat for body-shamming a woman in her 70s by using Snapchat to photograph her in a gym locker room. The snap came with a price and potential jail time for Dissemination of Private Images. Dani is likely breathing a sigh of relief today, because a judge said she doesn’t have to do hard time.
Playboy Model Dani Mathers Strikes Plea Deal In Body-Shaming Case
In a Los Angeles courtroom earlier today, Mathers was given two choices for her crime: do 45 days in the joint or remove graffiti. Mathers and her legal team went with the latter option, so look for her cleaning up tagging while trying not to fall off an L.A. overpass. She’ll also be on probation for 36 months.
Mathers was escorted out of court by her attorney and some dude we can only assume is her boyfriend/husband. She was full of remorse and explained how she now realizes there’s no room in decent society for cyber-bullying.
Wait, never mind, she said none of those things and had nothing to say for being an asshole to a 70-something-year-old woman.
“No comment,” her lawyer said. Here’s a comment for you: don’t be an asshole to old ladies.
Let’s hope Dani learned her lesson here. If not, she’d better get used to scraping spray paint off of walls.
