Myles Goodwyn Of April Wine Announces His First-Ever Blues Album

Following sold out concerts at the Living Arts Centre and Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Myles Goodwyn of April Wine recently signed with label True North Records, that will be releasing his first-ever blues album in the fall of 2017.

The Woodstock, New Brunswick native is the founding and longest-standing member of the band, and the only original band member left.  He released a total of 20 albums with April Wine, however, after they disbanded and Goodwyn pursued a few solo projects, he reformed the band in 1992. April Wine has received 11 Juno Award nominations and have yet to win a single one. But the band was inducted into the East Coast Music Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame two years later. Goodwyn received ECMA Lifetime Achievement Award for his impact on the music industry of Atlantic Canada in 2003, and released a bestselling tell-all memoir that came out last year (entitled Just Between You and Me).

Goodwyn is a guitarist and singer as well as a record producer and a songwriter.
