Happy Birthday!
So let’s add to the list yet again: United Airlines shit the bed by dragging a doctor off a plane. Then Spirit Airlines canceled a bunch of flights which caused chaos. And now JetBlue has gotten in on the action with this gem.
JetBlue decided to kick a Jersey City family off a flight for a birthday cake. What? Cameron Burke, his wife Minta, and their two kids, seven-year-old Cameron Jr and nine-year-old Camille were on a flight from New York to Las Vegas recently to celebrate Minta’s 40th birthday with family. But guess what? One of their carry-on items was a birthday cake from Tonnie’s Minis, a famous bakery in Harlem.
“A flight attendant nicely asked me to remove the cake from that compartment,” Cameron told NY Daily News. “So I moved it to another one. She then asked me to move it to the seat in front of me, so I did.”
And that’s the moment that, according to Cameron, another flight attendant appeared and began berating Cameron and the nice flight attendant.
“She said I was being non-compliant,” Cameron said. And of course, Port Authority police officers were called. Check out the video below.

An investigation revealed that the family did nothing wrong. JetBlue reps then had everyone in the plane get off in order to get Cameron and his family off. Their tickets were refunded, but they were still ordered to leave the plane.
But JetBlue has their own story. Here’s what JetBlue spokesman Doug McGraw had to say.
Then again, it’s tough believe any airline after the shitshow that’s been happening in the skies these last couple of weeks.
Cameran says he was able to get a flight the next day out of Newark, but he is going to sue JetBlue.
Stay tuned, folks.
