John Lennon’s Graphic Novel Has Received Its First Trailer

A graphic novel depicting the life of John Lennon has received its first trailer, with it set to recount the late Beatle’s difficult upbringing in Liverpool, to his ascension to rock stardom, to his solo career and elongated naps with Yoko Ono.

The graphic novel, titled Lennon: The New York Years, is a semi-autobiographical tale that imagines Lennon discussing his life with an unnamed, unseen therapist who lives in his building. The book has been written by Eric Cobeyran and drawn by French artist Horne, and is based upon David Foekniknos’ 2010 novel, Lennon.
