Vin Diesel wants to play a superstar EDM DJ not in the movies, but real life. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, The Fast and the Furious actor revealed that he is working on a “monster track” with Steve Aoki, who described their collaboration in classic star fucker-ese.

“What Vin brought to the table, I’ve never experienced before,” said Aoki, an A-list DJ best known for throwing cakes at his audience. “I think it’s going to blow people’s minds.”

If that’s not enough douchebaggery for you, Diesel is convinced that the track will win him a Grammy before an Oscar. Why, you ask? Well, the Guardians of the Galaxy star who plays Baby Groot (suggest DJ name?) in the upcoming sequel, admitted that when he played the as-yet-unheard track for his longtime girlfriend, he cried while she listened.

Sadly, this is not Diesel’s first foray into EDM as he sang over Kygo’s hit song featuring Selena Gomez, “It Ain’t Me”. The former B-boy dancer clearly sees himself as a dual-threat as he used to rap too. Cover the dog’s ears and check it out below:
