For Star Wars fans, every day must be a paradox. That’s because Star Wars fans are deluged with Star Wars content on a daily basis, and yet still the most frequently asked question is, what’s next? When does the next poster come out? What about the next trailer? When will we finally hear Luke Skywalker speak in the new Star Wars trilogy?
The answers to all of those questions (and more) came today, when the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered online, along with a stylish new poster. The preview offers little in the way of insights about the film’s plot, and instead focuses primarily on ships flying around and shooting each other, shots of Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley running, and vaguely portentous imagery. But it does give us our first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it does look like – once again – our next trip to a galaxy far, far away will be a rewarding one.
