After seeing Entourage get the movie treatment, it became obvious to us that there are a few popular TV shows we’d like to see get made into movies after their terrible series finales. I mean, if Sex and the City can make a movie about four women getting drunk in public and making asses of themselves trying to act like adults, why can’t some of our favorite TV classics getting a proper reboot?
We know what you’re thinking: These shows ended the way they did for a reason, over and done with. But once far enough away to step back and see mistakes and ways they could have better ended their shows or upon realizing you handed the show off to the worst possible showrunner (Ahem, Dexter), maybe they’d like to take another stab at ending it right, just like Seinfeld did on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

"Dexter"

After one of the worst TV finales ever, we were convinced Dexter's story wasn't over until he was dead. All along, we assumed his sister was the sole person who could succeed in killing him, but she died in a random freak shootout at the end of the show, so there goes that theory. We'd like to see them do a movie, even if it's only five minutes long, just to see the lights go out for our favorite forensics specialist turned woodsy truck driver.

"Seinfeld"

They got a redo during a refreshing season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, even though it was on Larry David's turf, but it was still a pretty tough finale to make. A movie would be delicious, though it doesn't fit the format, but we would love to see if they're still single, unlovable New Yorkers now. Michael Richards kind of ruined that with the whole N-word freakout, although we love him and desperately miss our favorite characters and their endlessly perfect quotes.

"Saved By The Bell"

Any wedding in Las Vegas will bring up a skeptical future. As much as we have pined for a reunion, Dustin Diamond probably can't get away from his parole officer long enough, and Lark Voorhies is basically unrecognizable. But they mixed up the cast so much across four years they could get away with a little Zach and Kelly, Jesse and Slater TV movie. Just get Jimmy Fallon to fill in for Screech.

"Sons of Anarchy"

So much of the end to Sons of Anarchy was focused around Jax, Gemma and the Teller family. But we'd like to see how the club functions with life after Tax, much like we got see how they did without Clay at the table. Considering all the old members were dead and Chibbs was put in charge, we'd still like to see some more motorcycle madness. Luckily, Kurt Sutter has a Mayans spinoff in the works that will suffice, and possibly a World World II era prequel, as well.

"Californication"

The 'will they, won't they' storyline was drug out for seven seasons, yet was still the lingering question after the finale. While we appreciate not having a finite ending, we could always use some more quick wit and banter from Hank Moody in our lives. It's the only decent struggling-writer story so far.

"Breaking Bad"
Walter White may be dead, but lots of people were curious about Jesse's future, along with Walt's family (not really, fuck Skylar AND her son). With Vince Gilligan's Better Call Saul ramping up to the meth-making era as they bring in more Breaking Bad Easter eggs, we're hoping they'll bring in Aaron Paul (since The Path sucks and will likely end soon) and hopefully work past the end of Walter White to show us Saul and Jesse's post-meth living.

We all want it, including you. Why don't they just give it to us? All the actors are still relatively sane. Something to look forward to, even if Matthew Perry isn't into it.

Of all the cancelled show cliffhangers, we could've done without one in the Michael Cudlitz/Ben McKenzie Chicago cop drama. Mother dick, give us a little more, anything to get Ben away from Gotham.

"Freaks And Geeks"

After seeing the Wet Hot American Summer revival, it made us crave our favorite short-lived teen shows, along with the good, old Apatow days.

Aside from being virtually unwatchable TV, we want to know what happened after that awful finale ending, you know, when the government showed up and captured Alf before cutting to black. How fucked was that?
