Is This The Worst ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fail Ever?

If not, it’s pretty damn close to being one of the worse.

We’ve seen some bad Wheel of Fortune misfires before. Let’s remind you all of the lady who went on the gameshow even though she has awful spelling skills. And don’t forget the guy who may just be the worst contestant the show has ever seen. But a contestant on last night’s Wheel of Fortune screwed up in the biggest (and most hilarious) way — so much so he went viral.

The contestant, named Kevin, had all the letters but one on the puzzle, and everyone and their mom knew what the puzzled spelled out. Well, everyone except for Kevin. You see, the puzzle clearly spells out A Streetcar Named Desire, a famous Tennessee Williams play.

Well, this is what Kevin thought it said.

“A Streetcar Naked Desire,” people. I think Kevin may have been thinking of the porn parody.

You can just hear the audience collectively sigh at Kevin’s blunder. Hell, even host Pat Sajak had to poke fun at him, informing him that he’d “rather see Kevin’s play.” Me, too, Pat. Me, too.

After the show, according to ABC 6, this is what Sajak had to say to Kevin:

“The nice thing I can tell from meeting you, you’re a nice guy and I’ll bet you have really nice friends. They’re not going to make any remarks to you. They’re not going to give you any grief at all. Good luck with that.”

Brutal. But not as brutal as Twitter was.

Don’t worry, Kevin. You’re now a part of Wheel of Fortune fail history.
