My dad is one of those guys who continually says that rap music sucks because you don’t need talent to be on top of the hip hop world. Usually, the easiest and most effective way to get him to shut his damn yapper is by playing “Lose Yourself” by Eminem and telling him to rap along to it, which shouldn’t be an issue since it doesn’t take talent.
It’s usually at that point when he tells me to eat a dick, grabs another can of Schlitz from the fridge and makes his way into the living room to watch the local news for the third time in less than two hours. He then forgets what we went through the following week, and the entire scenario plays out again like we’re in the movie “Groundhog Day.”
Well, thanks to “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, I think I might have another, more effective way of getting my point across to my father that proves once and for all that talent is needed if you’re going to succeed in this rap game. Take it away, Alex, thanks to this Twitter.

And now let’s hope the producers do everybody a solid and make sure “Let’s Rap, Kids!” is never a category on “Jeopardy!” ever again. Well, unless of course Jay Z guest hosts the show one day.
