Roger Ebert, arguably the greatest film critic ever, saw and reviewed a lot of films, and of course not everything he saw was up his alley. But before the internet took over our lives, everyone would hit the paper to see what Ebert had said about the newest movies. And his opinion would be enough to sway whether they wanted to see it or not. Now that’s power. Of course people now have other options to check out reviews, one of them being Rotten Tomatoes, but we can’t forget just how great Ebert was at his job.
Now there are a lot of movies that we love, but the late, great Ebert certainly had a strong opnion about some of the movies he watched — so much so that sometimes he just dropped the best burns on them. From garbage movies like Battlefield Earth to Catwoman and more, it’s hard not to agree with these hilarious burns.
Check out 16 of them below.
16 Of The Most Hilarious Movie Burns From Film Critic Legend Roger Ebert
Now don’t feel too bad if you liked any of these movies. Actually, feel bad if you liked Battlefield Earth.
