Bane is coming for Batman, and even the Dark Knight can’t hold off one of his most feared adversaries!
Weeks ago, the Psycho Pirate used his powers to drive Gotham Girl and her brother, Gotham, insane. Now, Gotham is dead and Gotham Girl’s sanity is hanging on by a thread. Batman went to Santa Prisca to retrieve Psycho Pirate from Bane, and he even formed his own Suicide Squad to do it! But a victory against Bane is never assured, and now Batman needs to keep the Psycho Pirate out of Bane’s hands long enough for Gotham Girl to be cured.
In the last issue of Batman, Bruce Wayne warned his sidekicks to skip town during Bane’s assault. But only Duke Thomas listened, leaving the Dark Knight to discover his son and his first two surrogate sons hanging by the neck. In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Batman # 17, we don’t learn if the Robins were actually hanged. But we do see that Bruce has found a way to keep them safe and as far away from Gotham City as possible.
