With Spring Training just days away, it’s that time of year when clubs do their best to win over fans with promotions for the upcoming season. However, the 29 other MLB teams and the countless others in Minor League Baseball may consider giving up from this point forward. The Montgomery Biscuits win. Yes, the Biscuits.
The minor league affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays announced this week they are hosting a ‘Stranger Things Fright Night’ on July 7. The best part? The players will wear the Stranger Things-themed jerseys you see above.
“This is just the second time the Biscuits will wear custom jerseys,” said Scott Trible, General Manager. “We are very excited to host a night to salute all pop culture horror including Stranger Things. From the custom jerseys on the field, to the themed entertainment throughout the game, this night will have something every fan can enjoy.”
And I lied. The best part may be the fact you could take one of the Stranger Things jerseys home, as one of the jerseys will be auctioned off.

Montgomery, Alabama may not be the center of the baseball universe, but with the incredible amount of fandom the Netflix show has garnered in such a short time, rest assured things will get astoundingly weird at Riverwalk Stadium July 7!
