Tim & Eric’s David Liebe Hart is prepping for an Australian tour, but before he’s even here he’s already dipped into Aussie culture by penning a new song called Vegemite.
“Vegemite is better than peanut butter,” Hart proclaims in the track, speaking like a true Australian.
We’re not sure if Hart actually means every word he’s saying, but he seems to be very passionate about it and to be honest, he’s selling it well.
It comes complete with a video that’s full of Australian icons from Mel Gibson to Crocodile Dundee, with plenty of Kangaroos for good measure.
Hart will tour here in April backed by electronic musician Th’ Mole. He’s promised to bring with him puppets, songs and plenty of oddball humour – the kind we’ve come to love on ‘Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!’.
If he loves Vegemite as much as he says he does, he’s probably going to have the time of his life on the tour. Make sure you bring along a jar with you.
