While there are plenty of terrible songs out there, one song that continues to be a favorite for many people is “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers. This is just one song that everyone seems to know every single word to, and they can’t help but sing along anytime it comes up. But there might just be one small issue — it seems we have been singing the wrong lyrics this entire time. And this song came out in 2004, so it’s been over ten years of singing the wrong words.
So, what have we been singing wrong? Well, this is how we’ve been singing the opening words to the song:
“Coming out of my cage/And I’ve been doing just fine/Gotta gotta be down/Because I want it all.”
