Now, setting out on their own path with Rob on guitar and vocals and Lauren on drums, the buzzed-about KOLARS are set to release their debut self-titled album in April.
Crave is exclusively premiering KOLARS latest single, “Turn Out The Lights”. The stream-ready song has a bouncy rhythm, slick rockabilly guitar and bad boy crooning that brings to mind another dynamic duo, The Kills, with less snarl and more sunshine a la Matt & Kim.
Here’s what KOLARS had to say about the single, “In ‘Turn Out The Lights’ we wanted to capture the feeling of seduction. That desire you have for someone that can’t be tamed. We then turned the song into a six-minute journey of playful sexuality.”
