While some folks spent New Year’s Eve attending weird parties and making resolutions they will never keep, one guy in Wisconsin spent it by just belly flopping onto a police car. Because that is the only true way to kick off your 2017 right.
Cody James Romano, a 25-year-old who clearly had been drinking, decided that the only way to celebrate 2016 finally being over was to run at “full speed” and throw his body onto the windshield of a police car. Oh, and it was caught by the dashcam of the police car, because these are the only things that are caught on dash by police these days it seems.

Romano was obviously quickly taken into custody, and was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Romano was booked into jail on multiple charges: battery to a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property. Good going, Romano.
Now let’s see what Romano, who is a customer service manager at Walmart, ended up doing to that police cruiser.
