How To Kill A Friendship With One Terrible Answer On A Gameshow

I’ve never heard of a gameshow called Pointless, but apparently it’s a quiz show on BBC that will be getting a tad more viewers because of this clip that has gone viral.

Let me first start off by saying that I look forward to hours of gameshow watching when I’m old and more hopeless than I am today, but for now these awesome gameshow moments sure are amusing. It was rather entertaining to watch this poor kid lose Jeopardy! by one measly dollar (although heartbreaking for him). And it was hilarious to watch this woman on Wheel of Fortune show everyone her terrible spelling skills. But now let’s watch a friendship end on TV.

Gameshow contestants Sarah and Mariam were playing as a team on Pointless, when Sarah was asked to name a country that ends in two consonants. Let’s just say Sarah screwed up.

Before answering ‘Paris,’ Sarah revealed she she had studied Geography A Level. But forget the fact that Paris doesn’t end in two consonants, Paris isn’t even a country.

And look how pissed off Mariam was:

Let’s take another look at that:

Well, hopefully this friendship can be saved, but by the looks of it, it doesn’t look like it.  Mariam will never let Sarah forget this.
