Watch Shia LeBeouf’s Six Hour Performance Piece Which Went Down At The Sydney Opera House Last Night

Last night, as part of Sydney Opera House’s pop culture festival Bingefest, Shia LeBeouf delivered an art project and it unfurled over six hours.

LeBeouf, alongside Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner, unveiled a new performance piece #ANDINTHEEND which used the Opera House and anybody who wanted to drop in.

Visitors were invited one by one into the Joan Sutherland Theatre to deliver a message to the trio which they then read out. It was then broadcast outside the Opera House on a screen in red letters.

The only rule for those delivering a message was that it had to begin with ‘And in the end’. People said things like, “And in the end it felt honest,” and “And in the end, it’s just a plant so why can’t I grow my own?”

We’re going to be honest with you, it’s a very lengthy watch and if you’ve got six hours to watch it then we’re envious but it’s worth skipping through.

It’s also going down tonight at the Opera House if you’d like to head by and deliver a message or simply watch the screen.

Watch: #ANDINTHEEND by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner
