Without question 2016 was one of the most epic years in sports history. Which, also means, 2016 had some of the most expensive tickets in sports history.
StubHub just released the top 10 most in-demand tickets from this past year. It should come to no surprise that the Cubbies dominated, except when it comes to the Super Bowl, which this year featured Cam Newton and the Panthers vs. Denver and Peyton Manning.

The Cubs-Indians World Series had an average sale price of nearly $2,000, which was the most expensive series on StubHub since the site began tracking numbers in 2002. The prices also topped last year’s World Series by 160 percent.
