Nintendo Switch Makes its Debut on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

The Nintendo Switch made its official debut last night during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with the talk show host revealing the first ever gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running on the upcoming console.

Nintendo of America COO Reggie Fils-Aime and legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto were on hand to detail the console on the show, offering a brief glimpse of Breath of the Wild and showing off how the Switch can seamlessly, er, switch the action from your TV screen to the console’s handheld display. Unfortunately there wasn’t a direct feed of the footage, therefore meaning that it’s difficult to ascertain exactly how much better Breath of the Wild looks when running on the Switch compared to its Wii U version.

Fils-Aime also let Fallon have a test run of the upcoming iOS game Super Mario Run, which will be released on December 15. You can check out the video below:
