Let us first apologize in advance for not telling you folks how to survive a hippo attack, but not a lot of situations occur where a dude’s truck is getting rammed by a pissed off hippo, but hey, that’s exactly what occurred here.
A 26-year-old welding inspector by the awesome name of Wikus Ceronie was working in Mozambique and crossing the bridge back into the Kruger National Park in South Africa when he came across what seemed like a pretty chill hippo. Ceronie prepared to slow down, but apparently the hippo apparently thought this guy and his pickup truck were a threat. So this happened.

Yep, that truck did not stand a damn chance at all. Ceronie made the most of this situation and submitted the footage to Kruger Sightings, which is a YouTube channel that is all about insane animal footage. And yep, this footage is quite insane.
And don’t worry, folks, the hippo was OK. And besides, this dude could have spotted something a hell of a lot worse. Like, I don’t know, maybe this?
