Even the most hardcore Game of Thrones fans may not instantly recognize the name Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, but they’ll know him when they see him! And while it will be almost a year before the show returns to HBO for its seventh season, Björnsson has found a funny way to play off of his fame as Ser Gregor Clegane, the man better known as “The Mountain!”
Soda Stream has released a new extended advertisement that features a hapless set worker who is hounded by one of the Septas from Game of Thrones as she chants “shame!” while marching him down the street like a naked Cersei. His crime? Buying plastic water bottles, and it’s something that even the ordinary people suddenly find offensive.
Just when you think that this heavy handed environmental ad can’t get any more over-the-top, it turns out to not be an environmental ad at all! Instead, it’s a very shameless plug for Soda Stream, although Björnsson does show a lot of humor as he suddenly plays pitchman for the product.

If you recognized the Septa, it’s no accident. That really is actress Hannah Waddingham reprising her role as Septa Unella, the woman who tortured Cersei and shouted “shame!” on the show. It’s also kind of hilarious to see Björnsson’s reaction to Waddingham at the end of the clip, considering that his character was last seen torturing her character at Cersei’s behest.
We’re also quite curious about how HBO will take this ad, or if it was done with permission. But something tells us that Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke won’t have the same freedom to mock their characters until the show is over.
